Liberty Lake, one of New Jersey's greatest resources -

Serving the local community for close to 50 years

Liberty Lake Day Camp

www.LibertyLakeDayCamp.com

Liberty Lake Day Camp is one of the largest, most successful children's summer camps in the country- with over 700 families and 200 employees each season.

We are a source of childcare to over 800 families every summer- most who are dual income families, with few options for their elementary school aged children.

Liberty Lake's Camp Program is anchored by our 5 Star Points: We teach children independence, how to be a contributing member of society, inspiration and appreciation, teamwork and collaboration, and friendship -- what it means to be a REAL (not Facebook) Friend. Real, life altering work takes place at Liberty Lake, the kind of work that impacts thousands of people a year and that those people take back to their homes and towns and impacts more people.

The “magic” of the camp experience lies in the friendships that are formed, the self-esteem that is enhanced and the life lessons that are learned. Camp truly offers children an invaluable experience, one that cannot be had anywhere else. If you are unfamiliar with the Summer Camp Experience, we encourage to read Why Camp? - an article by Liberty Lake's Director, Andy Pritkin.

Liberty Lake is a summertime tradition for thousands of people, who return year after year with their families, schools and organizations.

No other picnic destination has the facilities, menu, activities, access to the interstates, parking, or reputation that we have.

Liberty Lake hosts picnics, school field days, family reunions, corporate events, charity events, weddings, union gatherings and political fundraisers.

■ We host events for 75 to 100 groups per year, with over 30,000 people attending in total.

Liberty Lake Foundation

www.LibertyLakeFoundation.org

The Liberty Lake Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit corporation committed to enhancing the well-being of youth in our community.

For the past 10 years, Liberty Lake has been at the forefront of youth development in our area, providing a safe haven of experiential education, growth and leadership opportunities for thousands of young people throughout Burlington, Camden, Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean Counties in New Jersey, as well as Philadelphia and Bucks Counties in Pennsylvania.

We have contributed our time and resources and forged partnerships with wonderful programs like Project Morry and S.C.O.P.E. We have hosted Swim-a-Thons, Community Health Days, Parenting Workshops, and numerous Picnics and Teambuilding Events for local Non-Profit Organizations and Schools.

The Foundation has given tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships- “Camperships” as we call them- for families hit hard by the recession. These Camperships allow local children from families in economic hardship to attend Liberty Lake Day Camp.

More About Liberty Lake

■ Liberty Lake's Year-Round Staff of Youth Development Professionals contribute to the Liberty Blog, a youth development blog with many followers, and is often quoted, tweeted, and linked to by other prominent social media outlets.

Liberty Lake allows local schools, girl scouts, boy scouts, senior citizen groups, fire departments, environmental groups and recreation programs to utilize its facilities free of charge.

Besides the General Store, Liberty Lake is probably the most well known business in Mansfield Township, as Columbus Market is in Springfield, and is one of the highest paying taxpayers.

Liberty Lake, a flourishing business in New Jersey that is committed to making a difference in the lives of others, should not be compromised by the adverse impacts of an ill-planned Warehouse Distribution Facility. Please join us in our pursuit of preventing or altering the plans of Margolis Enterprises!
